William G. Field, Jr., 72, of Westminster and formerly of Bedford and Lowell, died on January 18, 2018 with his beloved children by his side.

He was born in New Jersey and was the son of the late William G. Field and Margaret Field. He was the step-son of Lois (McMahon) Field.

Bill was raised in Bedford and was a graduate of Bedford High School.

He honorably served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1963-1966.

For over 20 years, Bill worked for Lockheed Martin until his retirement.

He was an avid golfer, loved to fish and was a rock hound. He was always happy to be riding his Harley Davidson on which he took many cross-country trips. Above all, the he cherished spending time with his children.

He is survived by his beloved children, Billy, Lance and Lisa Field, his former wife, Nancy (Schenholm) Field, sister, Sandy Field-Daly and her husband Peter and his nephew, Justin Daly.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Friday, January 26, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
