William J. "Bill" Connolly's Obituary
William J. "Bill' Connolly, 58 of Lowell, died on Feb. 21, 2015, in Boston.
He was born in Boston and was the son of the late Charles and Theresa (O'Brien) Connolly and brother-in-law of the late Lawrence McCarthy.
Bill served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1979 to 1980 and was honorably discharged.
He was a longtime resident of Lowell and participated in many programs for veterans in Bedford and Lowell.
He is survived by his siblings David Connolly of Quincy, Jean Connolly of Hingham, Stephen Connolly and his wife Arlene of Quincy and Charles Connolly and his wife Linda of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and friends.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated in the E.N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital Chapel, 200 Springs Rd., Bldg. 81, Bedford, MA on March 21, at 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bedford VAMC Patient Programs, 200 Springs Rd., Bedford, MA 01730.
