Mr. Warren A. Morgan, died at Bedford, MA, in his 90th year, on Saturday, March 24, 2012.
Born August 6, 1922, in Arlington, Massachusetts, Warren attended Arlington High School before undergoing Pilot Training at the University of Utah at Provo and enlisting in the U.S. Army Air Force during WW II. He returned to Massachusetts and married his beloved, childhood sweetheart, Marie A. (Nolan) Morgan. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan lived in California for many years, while traveling the U.S. and Canada extensively with their growing family. They later returned to Cambridge, where they devoted their lives to raising their five adoring children: Joy, Tracey, Jack, Faith and Richard. The family eventually moved to the South Shore and Mr. and Mrs. Morgan retired to Braintree. Warren was highly regarded as a sparkling conversationalist with a great love of music, poetry, and nature. He will be remembered by his family, and all whose lives he touched, for his unfailing commitment to his wife and children and for his quick wit, brilliant mind, and generous spirit.
Warren is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Elizabeth (Betty) Morgan, of West Medford; his daughter-in-law, Martha Sharkey Morgan; his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers: George, Edward, Charles, Arthur, and John.
