Veronica Hsiu-Chih Lin, 77, of Quincy, died July 17, 2023, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Guangdong, China and was daughter of the late Jun-Sheng Hsieh and Ai-Yu Sun.

In 1979, she moved from Taiwan to the United States with her family. First living in Cambridge and then moving to Brookline and eventually Quincy.

She was trained and worked as a nurse in Taiwan and worked as a nursing assistant at Quincy City Hospital.

Mrs. Lin was a devoted member of the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston.

She was predeceased by her husband, Johnson Nan-Hwa Lin in 1990 and is survived by her two sons, Simon Lin of Newton and David Lin of Quincy.

A graveside service will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody, on Friday, July 21, at 10:30 AM.
