Thomas F. Hynes, 85, of Bedford died on October 25, 2021, in Burlington, Mass.

Mr. Hynes was born in Somerville on January 28, 1936, and he was the son of the late Patrick and Bridget Mollie (Culliney) Hynes and brother of the late Joseph Hynes.

After graduating from high school, he attended Wentworth Institute in Boston and received training in the heating and air conditioning services.

A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served in the Army from 1954 until 1956 when he was honorably discharged.

He is survived by his daughter, Naomi Hynes, his sisters, Patricia Bakey, Helen Hynes Grotz and Mary Murphy, his former wife, Elena (Cohen) Hynes and many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

Private funeral services were held for family.
