Thomas F. Flynn, 78, of Bedford, died on February 27, 2014.

Mr. Flynn was born in Newton, Mass. on October 23, 1935, and he was the son of the late Michael J. and Elizabeth (Deeley) Flynn.

He was raised in Newton and was a graduate of Boston College and retired from the Raytheon Company.

He was the devoted husband of Josephine (Messina) Flynn, loving father of Janet Morano and her husband, Peter of Westford and Thomas F. Jr. and his wife, Mary-Anne of Libertyville, IL, dear brother of Mary Flynn of Watertown, Paul of Framingham and the late Michael Flynn, beloved grandfather of Jennifer and Nicole Morano, Kristin Gvazdauskas and her husband, Keith and Matthew Flynn and great grandfather of Shea Gvazdauskas.

His funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Rd., Bedford, Wed., March 5, at 9:30 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 10:30 A.M.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tues., March 4, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.

Interment will be in Shawsheen Cemetery in Bedford.
