Steven M. Hatch, 71, of Billerica and formerly of Bedford died on February 14, 2023.
He was the son of the late Phyllis (Coyle) and William P. Hatch Jr.
During his elementary school years, he lived in Dorchester until the family moved to Bedford when he was in middle school.
He was a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1970. Shortly after graduation, he entered the United States Navy and served as an Electricians Mate from 1972-1974, he was honorably discharged as a decorated Vietnam War veteran.

In 2018, he retired as the Facilities Director at Middlesex Community College, although, in true Steve fashion, he was never officially retired and was often doing "odd jobs" or favors when called upon.
He was an avid hockey fan and player for most of his life and enjoyed riding his motorcycles throughout the years. He loved boating and being on the water, his second home in Sebago, Maine was his favorite place. Above all, his family, especially his three daughters, was the most important thing to him.
