Ronald "Ron" Tolwinski of Bedford formerly of Staten Island, NY, died peacefully at his home on June 2, 2019 at the age of 69.

Ron was the loving husband to Rosemary (Kenney) for nearly 45 years of life, love, and laughter. He was the son of the late Stanley and Beatrice (Kelly) Tolwinski and brother to Richard of Old Bridge, NJ. Ron is also survived by his two sons; Jason (and wife Kathy) of Groton, MA and Mark of Bedford, MA. He also leaves his beloved grandsons Jacob and Tyler for whom he would do anything in the world for.

Ron dedicated his life to the community having served on the New York City Police Department for over 20 years raising to the rank of Sergeant. After retiring to Bedford, he continued to work with the Bedford and Lincoln Police departments. He was also very active in youth sports, first coaching his sons and later watching his grandsons. He will be dearly missed by all.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, June 6, from 4-8:00 pm at Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford.

Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday, June 7 at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 10:00 AM.
