Robert A.
Carlo
Apr 12, 1950 — May 1, 2026
Robert A. Carlo passed away on May 1, 2026, surrounded by his family.
After the loss of his loving wife, Marilyn, less than two years ago, Robert fought bravely to overcome a number of medical problems. Bobby faced this all head on and with the mindset that he would beat it and be ok. Bobby never lost his sense of humor and quick wit throughout the past eighteen months.
He was the beloved son of the late John and Mary Carlo.
Robert was predeceased by his loving wife, Marilyn Carlo (Mahoney), and father of Kristina Votto (Carlo) wife of Michael Votto, and Robert A. Carlo Jr., brother of Rose Sacca (Donald) and Peter Carlo. Robert was predeceased by his brother John Carlo and sister Blanche Wiswell (Carlo).
Bringing Robert the most pride and joy were his granddaughters, Ava and Anna. Robert was a spectator at each and every sporting event. Bobby cheered on their teams and knew all of the rosters to always applaud friends. Cherished uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends. A dog-lover, Robert, also leaves his loyal dog, Sal.
Robert was the long-time owner of R.A. Carlo Roofing Inc. Robert thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of his customers. Robert took great pride in his work and often developed long-standing relationships with any and all customers he worked with. Robert and Marilyn enjoyed sharing time on their boat for many years and in their second home in Boca Raton, FL with all of their family and friends. Bobby was an avid golfer and was often sought after to field a foursome. Bobby was a generous, fun-loving man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
