Peter Joseph
Frasso Jr.
Apr 12, 1980 — Jan 6, 2021
Peter Joseph Frasso, Jr., 40, of Haverhill, MA passed away suddenly on January 6, 2021. Funeral arrangements are private. A Memorial Service for friends and extended family will be held at a later date.
Peter leaves behind his fiancée, Alyssa Salvi Proia, of Haverhill, her daughter Gianna, and their unborn baby due in July. Peter also leaves his parents, Peter and Paula Frasso of Bedford, a twin brother Anthony Frasso of Bedford, a grandfather, Peter Marashio of Shrewsbury, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Peter was born in Boston, graduated from Westford Academy in Westford, MA and attended the University of Notre Dame. Peter played tuba in the Irish Marching Band which allowed him to attend every home football game sitting in the best seats. He loved the band, Irish Football and his bandmates. After graduating from Notre Dame, Peter graduated with a Master's Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, IL. He subsequently taught middle school and high school music in Indiana for several years before rejoining VanderCook College as their Outreach Coordinator. After 15 years out in the midwest, Peter returned home to Massachusetts much to the delight of his family. Changing careers, Peter obtained an Apex Certification and worked in Shipping and Materials Management. At the time of his death, Peter worked as a Materials Manager for Corindus/Siemens in Waltham, MA.
Peter immensely enjoyed his baseball card collecting hobby. He had an extensive collection and spent hours cataloguing and completing sets. He collected sports memorabilia and player autographs of his favorite teams – the Red Sox and the Patriots. He also enjoyed the occasional golf game and loved shopping at Ocean State Job Lots.
He was a huge fan of Saturday Night Live, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Family Guy and Brian Butterfield, and would often recite quotes from these shows. You would often find him organizing his baseball cards with one of these shows playing in the background. He had the biggest laugh that couldn't help but make you smile and the best silly faces and voices to always make you laugh. It cannot be left unsaid that Peter was also so very generous, sincere, kind, smart and responsible.
Peter had only recently moved to Haverhill, where Peter and Alyssa purchased a home. He was so proud of home ownership and was working diligently at renovations to make it a beautiful home for his family.
He will be missed by all but surely most by his fiancé, Alyssa. He finally found his one true love and they were just embarking on a love filled life together with their new home and a baby on the way.
A memorial scholarship has been created in his name. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Peter J. Frasso, Jr. Music Scholarship Fund, Haverhill High School, 137 Monument Street, Haverhill, MA 01832.
