Peggy E. Wang, age 71, of Carlisle died unexpectedly on June 5, 2024.

Peggy was born in Gary, Indiana, and was the daughter of the late Melvin and Donna (Brotcke) Wiese.

She was a graduate of Portage High School in Portage, Indiana, and received her bachelor's degree in theater technology from Purdue University in 1974.

Peggy moved to Massachusetts in 1976 and was employed at Digital Equipment Corp. She later worked in medical billing and for the last 15 years had worked in administration in Carlisle's Town Clerk's Office. She was recently elected to her second term as Town Clerk.

She was a longtime member of the Lutheran Church of the Savior in Bedford and volunteered in the food bank ministry.

An active supporter of animal rights and a dog lover, she enjoyed dog-sitting for friends and neighbors.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Joel Wiese.

Peggy is survived by her siblings Rebeca Potter and Mark Wiese, her nieces and nephews and one grandniece and one grandnephew.

A funeral service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Savior, 426 Davis Rd., Bedford, on Friday, June 14, at 10:30 A.M. Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Thursday, June 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
