Pauline Ansel - beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend - passed away peacefully September 24, 2024, after a brief illness.

Pauline grew up in Somerville. She moved to Bedford in 1955 after marrying Arnold, the love of her life, who passed away in 1976.

As a young widow she returned to the workforce, working for the Concord District Court for many years while also raising her children.

Fiercely independent, Pauline love reading, traveling, and most especially her dogs. She lived in Bedford until 2002, when she moved to the Brooksby Village retirement community in Peabody - where she remained for the rest of her life.

Pauline was sadly pre-deceased by her husband Arnold, her sister Barbara Cranley, and her youngest son Dana.

She is survived by her sons, David & Daryl; her daughter-in-law Gail and her sister Marsha Dolan (both of whom were like daughters to her); her grandchildren Jason & Elise; and by loving nieces and nephews Rory, Kelley, Bill, Donald, and Susan along with their spouses & children.

A graveside service will take place at Shawsheen Cemetery, Shawsheen Road, Corner of Route 4/225, Bedford, on Monday, September 30, at 11:00 AM.
