Paula A. Stein, 42, of Bedford, died at her Bedford home on August 16, 2014, following a lengthy illness.

Paula was born in Concord, Mass. on August 30, 1971, and was the daughter of Frederick W. and Charlotte L. (Wall) Vote.

She was raised in Lexington and was a member of the Class of 1989 at Lexington High School. She earned her degree in political science from the University of Lowell.

Paula was employed as a grants coordinator at Harvard University.

She was predeceased her husband Adam Stein and her father, Frederick W. Vote.

She is survived by her husband John Spinelli, daughter Emma Stein, her mother Charlotte Vote of Lexington, one brother, Sean Vote and his wife, Deb Childs-Vote of Arlington and two sisters, Eileen Vote of Lexington and Laura Taylor and her husband, Dan also of Lexington as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 20, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, August 21, at 11:30 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Brigid Church, 2001 Massachusetts Ave., Lexington, at 12:30 P.M.
