Paula Elizabeth Fowler, 78, of Exeter, New Hampshire, passed away September 5, 2022 with her husband by her side.

She was born on September 15, 1943 to the late Theodore and Roberta Wester of Waltham, Massachusetts. She graduated from Chapel Hill, class of 1962 and attended Mount Allison College in New Brunswick, Canada. She worked at MIT where she met her husband, Robert (Bob) Owen Fowler, Jr. when he was a student there. After getting married, Bob and Paula moved to New York where they settled in Ardsley.

Paula is survived by three children, Jennifer (Jiffy) Ruth Lansing and her husband Benjamin Jay Lansing of Chicago, IL, Robert Theodore Fowler and his partner Karen Jordan of Leominster, MA, and Katherine (Katie) Elizabeth Dougherty of Exeter, NH. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Riley Grace Dougherty and Teagan Elizabeth Rose Dougherty of Exeter, NH, and Dexter Dewey Lansing of Chicago, IL.

While raising her children in Ardsley, Paula was a member of the Junior League of Westchester County, NY through which she volunteered at the Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry and provided professional development seminars for women trying to enter the workforce. After the family moved to Lexington, Massachusetts, Paula continued with the Junior League of Boston and became an active member of the Lexington Garden Club and Bedford Garden Club. She also produced a play for the Second Season Players and was President of the Friends of Carey Library in Lexington.

Paula was an energetic, warm, and humorous woman who loved her family and friends. She also engaged in care activities for elderly friends, providing transportation, food, and comfort.
