Paul L. Hill, Jr. of Bedford, MA passed away on August 20, 2023, 20 days after the passing of his wife, Barbara (Barb), of 60 years.  Paul was born on September 9, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to Paul and Vera Hill.  He is survived by son Mike (Carla) and daughter Karen (Tom) Segreve, as well as many dear friends.  Paul graduated from the University of Minnesota where he met Barb, also a student, and became the University's first biomedical engineer.  He would go on to earn his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania after completing his dissertation in the field of biomedical engineering.  Paul was a voracious reader and enjoyed engaging with others on a variety of topics.  He and Barb became "foodies" and traveled extensively during retirement.

A joint celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on August 24, at the First Church of Christ, Congregational UCC, 25 Great Road, Bedford, MA (781-275-7951).  Prior to the service, you may visit the family in the Vestry located next to the Sanctuary from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. For individuals who are unable to attend, the service will be available via the "LIVE" link on the Church's website, https://www.youtube.com/@firstchurchofchristbedford3587 . Interment will be at Shawsheen Cemetery immediately following the service.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Barbara Hill's name to Susan G.
