Patricia M. Wilson, 79, of Bedford died on January 16, 2015.

She was born in Waltham on July 26, 1935, and she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Woods and Catherine (Claffey) Woods.

Mrs. Wilson was raised in Waltham, where she attended and graduated from St. Charles School. After graduation she went on to complete two years of college.

She was an active member of the Bedford community and spent her time volunteering at St. Michael Parish Religious Education Program and the Bedford Council on Aging.

For over ten years she worked as a teller and safe deposit box manager at the Shawmut Bank in Lexington. She was later employed at Home Goods in Bedford until her retirement.

She was the loving mother of Elizabeth "Ellie" Wilson of Bedford, Daniel Wilson of Colorado Springs, CO, Cheryl Wilson of Hudson, NH and Michael Wilson of Bedford. Cherished grandmother of Daniel Jr., Kristina, Jonathan, Christopher, Mark, William, April, Anthony and Maria Wilson. She was the former wife of Cleophas Wilson. Caring sister of Mary Ellen Annise of Cape Cod and the late Jeanette and Jack Woods.

Her funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford on Thurs., Jan. 22, at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wed., Jan. 21, from 3-7 PM.
