Patricia A. Ardito, 78, of Bedford, died following a brief illness on July 21, 2015.

Mrs. Ardito was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Barrett) Faulkner.

A former resident of Somerville and Lexington, she was a graduate of Somerville High School.

She was retired from Filene's Basement and had worked as an administrative assistant at the Wellesley office for 12 years.

Active in the Bedford community, she was a former member of the Planning Board, was Registrar of Voters for the Democrat and Republican parties, worked on many committees and was a member of St. Michael Parish.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul E. Ardito in 2002 and her brother, Edward Faulkner in 2014. Mrs. Ardito is survived by her three children, David P. Ardito, Andrea M. Ardito-Winson, Dayna P. Ardito and brother, Timothy Faulkner.

Her funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Monday, July 27 at 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 11:30 AM. There will be visiting hours at the funeral home on Sunday, July 26 from 2:00-5:00 PM.
