Mary C. Mead's Obituary
Mary C. Mead, a longtime Bedford resident, died at her home on May 17, 2014.
She was born in Watertown, Mass. on May 7, 1935, and was the daughter of the late
Ralph and Florence (Goguen) McLaughlin.
Mrs. Mead was a graduate of Arlington High School and was a member of St. Michael Parish
.
She was predeceased by her former husband Thomas, her son Timothy and brothers Sonny, Richard and Donald McLaughlin.
She is survived by eight children, Charlene, Doreen, Maureen, Thomas Jr., Michael, Pamela, Mary and Steve, sisters, Eleanor and Ginny, sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, Wed. at 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford at 10 A.M. Visitation at the funeral home on Tues. from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
