Mary Frances Galipeau, 87, from Bedford, MA entered into rest on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Brightview Concord River.

Mary was born on August 15,1936, in Cambridge, MA and spent most of her young life in Boston. She moved to her beloved Bedford in 1971 and spent the rest of her life living in a house in the center of town.

Mary had many paths throughout her life: stay-at-home mother, a circuit blueprint checker for phone lines at "Ma Bell", waitress, Pine Street Inn coordinator for St. Michael's Church, wife, but her favorite path, and the one that gave her the greatest energy, was teaching. She started as a classroom aide in 1973 at the Center School, spent time at Page School, and finally Job Lane School where she stayed until the early 90's. She then took a job at Bedford Montessori, where she was a teacher's assistant for almost a decade.

Mary loved life, family, and the church above all else.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Peter Galipeau. She is survived by her sons, Peter and his wife Susan and daughter Claire, and James and his wife Kimberly and son Ryan.

The family is planning a private service.
