Mary L. Colliton, 83, of Sarasota, Florida, died suddenly on February 13, 2014, at her home.

Mrs. Colliton was born in Somerville, Mass. on May 30, 1930, and she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (Yunitz) Cox.

She was raised in Somerville and was a member of Somerville High School, Class of 1948.

Mrs. Colliton lived in Bedford for thirty-four years where she was a member of St. Michael Parish. She has lived on Siesta Key for the past twenty years.

She enjoyed reading and playing cards poolside with her many friends at Siesta Harbor.

Mrs. Colliton was the wife of the late Joseph B. Colliton of Arlington, Mass who passed away in 2005.

She is survived by three children and their spouses, Paul and his wife, Donna of Stoneham, Kevin and his wife, Karen of Chelmsford and Joanne Saideh and her husband, George "Skip" of Concord, two sisters, Dorothy Gerrior of Sarasota, FL and Catherine Greene of Keene, NH. She was known as Dana to her eight grandchildren, Stephanie Keith, Michelle, Carolyn, Christopher, Lauren and Patrick Colliton and Nathaniel and Jacqueline Saideh, and one great grandchild, Jayden Keith.

Her funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, Mass Thurs. Feb. 20, at 8:00 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, Mass. at 9:00 A.M.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wed., Feb.19, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord, Mass.
