Marjorie V. Wilkins, 92, of Bedford, died on July 12, 2012, in Billerica.
Mrs. Wilkins was born in Somerville in 1919 to the late Charles and Sophia (Vincent) Fyfe. She was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1937. In 1979, she received her associate degree from Middlesex Community College.
She was employed at Millipore Corp. and worked for 15 years before her retirement.
Mrs. Wilkins moved to Bedford in 1954 and was a founding member of The First Baptist Church of Bedford. She participated in many church projects and assisted with making puppets and toys that were given to children at Emerson Hospital in Concord.
Her husband Ralph S. Wilkins died in 1969 and she was predeceased by her brother, Donald Fyfe.
Mrs. Wilkins is survived by her sons and their families, Fred and his wife, Lori of Pepperell and their children, Julia and Michael and Randy and his wife, Elizabeth Mattison and their children, Rory and Karleen.
A memorial service will be held at The First Baptist Church of Bedford on Sat., July 21,
