Marcia (Larsen) Sternberg, 92, died on December 16, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

Marcia was born on January 19, 1926, and raised in Bedford, MA. Marcia graduated high school in 1943. After graduation, Marcia moved to Washington, D.C., where she met her late husband, Maurice "Pete" Sternberg. They were married on May 20, 1950 and moved back to Bedford to raise their family. They shared 67 years of marriage until his death on July 16, 2017.

Marcia became Bedford's Town Treasurer in 1965 and later the Finance Officer. She had a great love of numbers. She retired in 1985 and opened her own business, Bedford Office Services. After closing Bedford Office services, Marcia and Pete spent time with their family and did some travelling.

Marcia is survived by her four children, Marcia DiNitto ( the late Nick), Maren Corcoran, Maurice "Kip" Sternberg (Lisa) and Marie Lee (Butch), nine grandchildren, April (Kevin), Jen, Josi (Jason), Nicholas, Christopher (Julie), Lindsay (Billy), Kelly (Jen), Nicole and Julie, 13 great grandchildren, Chloe, Jacob, Jordan, Brandon, Sabrina, Katrina, Jazlyn, Jacob, Sophia, Madison, Nicholas, Mackenzie and Ryan, one great-great grandchild, Pailin and her sister-in-law Jacqueline Maguire. Marcia was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas and Carl Larsen.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Wed., Dec. 19 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. followed at a funeral service at 11:30.
