Marcia Gail (McKenzie) Lopez, 63 of Marlborough, Ma., died 10-02-2018 at Bedford VA Hospital following a valiant fight with cancer.

Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Maurice F. McKenzie and Joan K. (Tobin) McKenzie. She graduated from Marlborough High School in 1973 and Fisher College in 1993. She was worked for various employers, most recently for Stratus Networks in Hopkinton.

Marcia was a proud veteran of the Unites States Army.

Marcia loved reading and spending time with her family. Good or bad, she also loved to cook and would host a weekly dinner for those of us who were culinarily challenged.

She leaves a daughter, Angelica M. Lopez of Worcester a brother, Phillip M. McKenzie of Marlborough and sisters Suzanne J. Skelly of Marlborough, Linda J. McKenzie of Leominster, Donna M. Johnson (John) of Cedar Grove, TN and Patricia A. McKenzie of Leominster.

Burial will be private at Bourne National Cemetery.
