Maeve Leah Malament was born on October 2, 2025, in Concord, Massachusetts. From the moment she arrived, Maeve brought light and joy to everyone she met. Always surrounded by love, laughter, and the utmost care, Maeve was joined by people who came from near and far to be with her.

Her dad delighted in wondering what her eye color might be, certain they were "going green," and cherished their ever-growing daily "snug time." Her mom treasured every cuddle and moment holding her close. Her grandparents rarely left her side. At Mass General, her care team affectionately debated who would serve as her primary caregiver on each day and night shift. Though her life was brief, Maeve knew nothing but love.

While some may believe a life's quality is measured by its length, Maeve showed us it is defined by the impact one has on others. Though her time was short, she leaves a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who knew her. She was, and always will be, deeply cherished by her parents, Keith and Stephanie; her loyal chocolate lab, Arlo; her many grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins; and devoted caregivers.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, Massachusetts, on Monday, January 19, from 2:00-5:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, Massachusetts on Tuesday, January 20, at 10:00 AM.

There will also be a Mass of Christian burial at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church, Dix Hills, New York, at a date to be determined.
