Obituary

Lynne Pease, 61, passed away peacefully at her home in Chelmsford on April 18 following a two-year battle with a brain tumor. She was the daughter of the late John E. Arden and the late Alice (Bryant) Arden. Lynne grew up in Bedford, Massachusetts; graduated from Bedford High School; and obtained an Associate Degree in Secretarial Science from Middlesex Community College.

She worked over a 40-year span as a secretary at The MITRE Corporation; office administrator for Roy F. Weston, Inc.; and retired, as a result of her illness, as Executive Clerk for the Town of Lexington Board of Selectmen. Throughout her career she was known and respected for her professionalism, considerable talent, helpfulness, attention to detail, hard work, and deep experience.

Lynne's interests were many and included photography, travel, skiing, sailing, Jazzercise, summering at Cape Cod and Ocean Park, Maine, birding, sewing, and gardening. She was actively engaged in her family's varied interests, ensured that all holidays and birthdays were properly celebrated, and provided a loving household for her husband and children.

Lynne is survived by her husband, Robert Pease; children, Gregory Pease and Emily Pease and Emily's wife, Maryanne; brother John Arden and his wife Sharon; nephews, Jamie Trinidade and his wife Tracey, Christian Trinidade and his partner Kathy Slowe, and Jonathon Arden and his wife, Melanie; her nephews' children; Goddaughter, Shaelyn Lavalle; and many first cousins and their children and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5, at 11:00 AM, at the First Church of Christ, Congregational, 25 The Great Road, Bedford, Massachusetts 01730.

The family would like to express its appreciation to the Lahey Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, Neuro-Oncology units; Bristol Meyers Squibb; VNA Care Hospice; UniCare Insurance Company; Town of Lexington employees and elected officials; and our neighbors and friends for their support and kind care to Lynne during her illness.
