Lucy A. Massey (Sacco), of Lexington, MA passed away in Lexington on April 14, 2023.

Mrs. Massey was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Merlino) Sacco.

She was raised in Allston and Cambridge and lived in Belmont before moving to Lexington in 1973.

For many years, she worked as a hairdresser and retired from the Sisters of Charity at Elizabeth Seton House in Wellesley.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved caring for her family. She also loved cooking, crocheting, and keeping house.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond L. Massey, loving mother of Raymond J. Massey and his wife Larah of Acton, Curtis Massey and Mary Eggerts both of Lexington, cherished grandmother of Kelsea and Michael A. Eggerts and Emma Massey, devoted great grandmother of Michael J. Eggerts and sister-in-law of Eva Sacco of Concord. She was predeceased by her siblings, Frank, Andrew and Anthony Sacco, Mary Bonanno, and Joan Lungo.

Visitation will be at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Tuesday, April 25, from 4:00-7:00 PM.

Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on April 26, at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral Mass at St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
