Lucille K. Moseley, 93, of Lexington, died on June 9, 2012, at the Golden Living Center of Lexington.
Miss Moseley was born in Medford, Mass. on January 31, 1919, and was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Mary E. (Sullivan) Moseley and sister of the late Marie Johnston and John Moseley.
She was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1937. In 1940, she earned her degree in education from Lesley College and she began her career as a kindergarten teacher. She taught in the Somerville school system for forty years.
After her retirement, Miss Moseley moved to Arlington. She enjoyed traveling and working every summer on Cape Cod. She was a fan of Boston College football and the New England Patriots.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Moseley of North Andover and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Rd., Bedford, Wednesday, June 13, at 10 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Irene Church, 187 East St. Carlisle, at 11 A.M. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 12, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Interment will be in the family lot in St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell.
