Linda J. Barnard, 57, of Boston, passed peacefully on January 5, 2018, with her brothers by her side.

Linda was the daughter of the late Jack R. Martin and Nancy (McIntyre) Martin Borrowman.

She was raised in Bedford and was a graduate of Bedford High School, Class of 1978. She was also a graduate of Simmons College where she received her degree in 1988.

She was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a social worker with the Department of Social Services.

Linda was an avid reader and cat lover. She also enjoyed camping, swimming, tennis, biking, music, and spending time at the beach and ocean. She adored her nephews and nieces.

She is survived by her three brothers: Charles and his wife Deborah, James and his wife Christie and William and his wife Stephanie, as well as seven nieces and nephews: Christopher, Julie, Vivian, Ella, Crosson, Jack and Will.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Saturday, January 20, from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM.
