Lillian F. "Bobbie" O'Neil of Billerica, formerly of Bedford, died on March 31, 2015, in her daughter's home.

Bobbie was born on December 30, 1921, and she was the daughter of the late John F. and Mary Ellen (Capeless) Hardy.

She was raised along with six siblings in South Boston. After graduating South Boston High School she went on to Carney Hospital School of Nursing. Bobbie worked on Labor & Delivery at Carney until her marriage.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph W. O'Neil M.D., grandchildren Sarah and Michael and great grandson Luke.

She is survived by her children, Stephen P. O'Neil and Virginia Westlund of South Boston, Irene Atkinson of Pelham, NH, Joseph W. and Deborah O'Neil of Lawrence, Jeremiah A. and Robin O'Neil, Karen and Randall Rogers, Mary Ellen and Charles Maes all of Billerica, 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, Wed., April 8, at 8:00 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 9:00 A.M. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tues., April 7, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
