Lillian A. (Johnston) Emerson, formerly of Bedford, MA and Punta Gorda, FL died on May 18, 2014.

Born in Somerville, MA in 1931, she was the beloved daughter of Albert Johnston and Thelma (Shaw) Johnston. Loving wife of the late Howard W. Emerson Jr. Loving mother of Howard and his wife Florence of Raymond, NH, Paul and his partner Trish McNally of Nashua, NH, Steven and his wife Liz Stahl of Chelmsford, MA, Christine and her husband James Mangano of Mt. Airy, MD, Debra Moriarty of Providence, RI and Robert and his wife Mary of Stoneham, MA. Grandmother of Faith, Rebekah, Sally, Jennae, Jonathan, Joanna, Jaclyn, Stephanie, Kristin, Jennifer, Daniel, Ryan, Kirsty, Ryan, Anna and Katherine, as well as ten great grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held for immediate family only.

Family and friends of Lillian are invited to participate in a celebration of her life at Waxy O'Connor's, 94 Hartwell Ave., Lexington, MA on Thursday, May 22, 2014, from noon - 4pm.
