Lawrence "Larry" Arthur Ellis died peacefully at home on May 20,
2012.
He was born in Everett, Mass on Sept. 16, 1938, to Wilbert and
Bertha (Jones) Ellis.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen (Hadney) of Billerica, Mass and his children: Stephen P. Ellis of Middleton, Mass; Maria L. Ellis M.D. of South Windsor, Conn. and
David R. Ellis of Wakefield, Mass. He had three grandchildren: Cody, Jakob and Tara Ellis; and two stepdaughters: Mary E. Conrad of Dover, Mass. and Kimberley Hadney of Bronxville, New York. He also leaves a beloved uncle, Henry Janez and many nieces, nephews and friends, including Jacques and Geraldine Potash of Peabody, Mass and Ralph DeParolisa of Woburn,
Mass. He was predeceased by his siblings Will Ellis, Yolanda Fahey and Barbara Evans.
In addition, he will be missed by the Camfield (Boston) residents where he served as Executive Director for the Camfield Tenants' Association as a force and catalyst in the growth
and development of the organization. He worked tirelessly to assist
residents in the redevelopment of their homes. Larry touched their lives both personally and professionally.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 23, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
