Kevin D. Sullivan, 84, of Chelmsford and formerly of Bedford died suddenly on July 15, 2020.

He was born and raised in Cambridge and was the son of the late Michael and Margaret (Doyle) Sullivan.

Mr. Sullivan attended Rindge Technical School in Cambridge and graduated in 1955. Following graduation, he enlisted and served in the U.S. Army

In 1971, he received his Bachelor of Science in finance from Northeastern University and went on to establish his own company, DSA Printing in Chelmsford, which he operated for over 40 years, until his retirement 5 years ago. He was also employed by Lyman Gun Works and Raytheon. Recently, he began driving for Uber and loved to give rides around downtown Boston.

Mr. Sullivan was a member of the Bedford Rotary for 35 years and was committed to their Gift of Life Program which provides support to medical training teams that travel overseas providing lifesaving surgeries. He was a member of St. Michael Parish. For many years, he and his wife, Ellen hosted foreign exchange students.

An avid history buff, he enjoyed visiting battlefields and with the Rotary travelled to Europe and Egypt.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen M. (Kelly) Sullivan, his sons, James Sullivan and his parter Colleen Sullivan and Paul Sullivan and his wife Catherine, his grandchildren, Olivia and Dylan Elliott and Patrick Sullivan. Predeceased by his siblings, Francis Sullivan, Helen Hunter, Richard and James Sullivan, Peggy Peck and Robert Sullivan.

Visitation at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Sun., July 19, from 8:00 AM- 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford on Mon., July 20, at 10:00 AM.
