Keith A. Haynes, 65, of Framingham, died on March 19, 2025.

He grew up in Wooster, Ohio and was the son of LeRoy W. Haynes and the late Ruth (Schubert) Haynes.

He graduated from Wooster High School, Class of 1978. He went on to attend Cornell University where he earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science.

Following graduation, he found employment in the Boston area and made the area his home. For many years, he worked at Motorola and most recently at A123 Systems in Waltham.

He continued his collegiate friendships and developed new relationships through the gaming community. Keith spent many hours gaming and was fond of analytical games and enjoyed weekends away with friends playing games.

Keith loved sailboarding and sailing, competing in many regattas with his father, bicycling and for a time he did martial arts. In his free time, he also enjoyed reading and was a member of a book club.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Anita Haynes and her husband Robert Sparks of Carthage, MO as well as two aunts and uncles, eight cousins and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Bedford American Legion, Post 0221, 357 The Great Rd., Bedford, on Wednesday, March 26, at 6:00 PM.
