Kathleen P. deLellis, 79, of Wakefield and formerly of Bedford and Wells, ME, died on December 25, 2018, in Lincoln, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the only child of the late John Timothy and Catherine (Connell) O'Connor of Somerville.

She was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph Academy in Brighton.

Following graduation from high school, she worked for the Harvard Coop where she met Daniel J. deLellis. They were married on April 28, 1962 at St. Catherine of Genoa Church in Somerville.

They moved to Bedford in 1966 and it was in Bedford she enjoyed raising her three boys. She was a long-time member of St. Michael Church in Bedford.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend as well as an avid quilter, gifted home cook and talented seamstress. Her happy place was Wells, Maine where she enjoyed entertaining and musical theatre at the Ogunquit Play House.

She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel J. deLellis in March 2013.

She was the loving mother Mark deLellis and his wife Ellen of Stoneham, John deLellis of Boston and David deLellis and his wife Nicole of Burlington, the devoted grandmother of John Patrick and Tyler Anthony. She will be missed by many dear friends and cousins.

Funeral from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., on Monday, December 31, at 8:00 AM followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 9:00 AM. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, December 30, from 2:00-5:00 PM.
