Kathleen C. Chapman, 76, of Bedford, passed away on October 6, 2015.

She was born in Stafford, Conn. and was the daughter of the late Melvin and Alice (Fagan) Cummings and mother of the late Heidi Chapman.

She was retired from Applied Technology Investors of Lexington and was a former employee of McGraw Hill and Data Resources also of Lexington.

Mrs. Chapman was a longtime member of St. Michael Parish in Bedford where she was a member of the choir. She also enjoyed singing with the Lexington Chorale. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved caring for her family, reading and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert L. Chapman, her daughter, Beth Van Pelt of Bedford and granddaughter, Erin Van Pelt and her fiance, Matthew Penney of Sandwich.

Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thurs., Oct. 8, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Her funeral will be held from the funeral home, on Fri., Oct. 9, at 8:00 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 9:00 A.M.

Interment will be in Shawsheen Cemetery in Bedford.
