June F. Comley, 89, of Westford and formerly of Bedford and Lexington, died on July 29, in Westford.

She was born in Somerville and was the daughter of the late Eugene M. and Helen (MacKenzie) Layte.

At the age of 2, she moved to Lexington, where she was raised and graduated from Lexington High School. She was a member of the Class of 1952 and was on the basketball team for 3 years.

Mrs. Comley worked for Bell Systems for over 30 years and later worked at RCA in Burlington for 6 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Philip Comley in 1970 and second husband, George D. Comley in 2021.  She is survived by children and their spouses, Patricia Probst and her husband Barry, Pamela Carroll and her husband Barry and David Comley and his wife Lisa, her grandchildren, Philip, Timothy and David Montalto, Cean Comley, Cassandra Fulton and Katie Carroll and 10 great grandchildren. Also predeceased by her brothers, Howard and David Layte and grandson James Carroll.

A graveside service will be held at Shawsheen Cemetery, Shawsheen Rd., Bedford, on Saturday, August 19, at 10:00 AM.
