Judith A.
Randazzo
Nov 22, 1943 — Mar 25, 2024
Judith A. Randazzo, 80, of Bedford, MA passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024 at Care Dimensions Hospice Home in Lincoln, MA following a week-long illness.
Judy was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothea (Miller) Civitarese of Milton, MA. She grew up spending her summers at their family home in Scituate. Judy and her siblings remained very close over the years, and she always looked forward to their fun-filled get-togethers.
Upon graduating from Jeanne d'Arc Academy in 1961, Judy attended Wyndham Secretarial School in Boston. Following graduation, Judy worked at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for over 40 years as a secretary and transcriptionist. She loved her job and the lifelong friends that she made over the years.
Judy was a devoted Catholic and parishioner at the Parish of St. Michael in Bedford, MA. She began every day praying the Rosary. She lived a Godly life, always putting her Faith first. She was kind, compassionate, and forgiving.
She loved to travel, spend time on the beach, especially on Cape Cod and Florida, play pickleball, watch game shows, volunteer at the Bedford COA Lunch Program, and spend time with her dogs. Above all, she cherished time with her family. The highlight of her week was hosting Sunday family dinners for the last 25 years. Sunday dinners were filled with board games, delicious home-cooked meals, and lots of laughter. It was the best way to end one week and begin another.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, John L. Randazzo, her children, Robyn Randazzo of Bedford, Donald Randazzo and his wife Heidi of Sylvania, OH and Jay Randazzo and his wife Kelly of Bedford, her grandchildren, Taylor and Christina Mason, James, Katharine, John, Anthony, Christopher and Carolena Randazzo, her twin sister, Renie Noris and sister, Barbara O'Toole, her brother-in-law, Thom Vaughan, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends. She was predeceased by her infant twin daughters, Corinne and Christine, her niece, Debora Noris, her brother, Jack Civitarese, and his wife, Maureen, her brothers-in-law, Leonard Noris and Brian O'Toole, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Yolanda and John Buttimer, and her sister-in-law, Margot Vaughan.
Visitation at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, MA will be on Monday, April 1, from 4:00-7:00 PM.
The funeral will begin at the Bedford Funeral Home, on Tuesday, April 2, at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral Mass at Parish of St. Michael, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, MA at 10:00 AM.
