Joseph Thomas Grant, b etter known as Tom, to most that knew and loved him, Tom was born in Stoughton, Mass on December 31,1934, to the late Thomas and Irene Grant of Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Tom will forever be remembered for his great sense of humor, his love for people and continual desire to help anyone in need. Tom attended Brockton high school, and immediately begin his military career at the age of 18. Tom proudly served in the Korean War, and until his final days recalled these memories as if they occurred yesterday. After retiring from the military, Tom dedicated 30 years to Armstrong World Industries, again retiring but not quite ready to sit! Tom worked for Yellow Cab, were he got to do what he loved best, meet new people and travel.

Tom wed Annette (Fluker) Grant in holy matrimony July 3rd, 1994 in Brockton, Mass. who he leaves behind, along with 1 child Sheena Fluker Smith (Atlanta) and son-in-law Masiah Smith, and nephew raised as a son Charles Townsend (South Carolina). Tom leaves behind 3 grandchildren Sanaa, Lord and Chase Smith, a host of nieces and nephews and family and friends that will truly miss him. Tom will forever be in our hearts and minds, as we hold on to his jokes, folk songs and his lovable smile!
