John J. Russo, age 91, a resident of Bedford, passed away on August 5.

Born in Waltham, he was the son of the late Antonio and Lucia (Tumminelli) Russo and the
brother of his late sisters, Maria Filippa, Rose, Josephine, Mary, Constance, Rita, and
Eleanor, and his late brothers Frank and Michael. He is survived by his sister-in-law Patricia Russo and brother-in-law George Gabriel, along with nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Waltham High School and attended Boston College and Bentley University. A Navy veteran of World War II, 'Johnny" was employed and retired from Raytheon Company and was an office supplies specialist for nearly fifty years.

He was married to Fay MacClary Russo for 48 years and the father of Jonathan of Groton and Johanna (Jodie) Russo-Dill of Bedford. He is also survived by his son-in-law Michael Dill and grandchildren Cory M. Russo and Matthew T. Dill.

Visiting hours will be at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Road, from
4 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, August 10. The funeral service will be on Thursday,
August 11, at 11 AM from the Bedford Funeral Home followed by the burial at Mt. Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
