Jeanne Henley passed away on November 7, 2013 in Peabody at the age of 87.

Jeanne was born on February 28, 1926, in Waltham, Mass, daughter of the late Henry C. and Blanche (Daniels) Franks. After graduating from Waltham High School, Jeanne met Harold Henley with whom she was married for 65 years until his death in 2011.

Moving to Bedford in 1951, she became an active member of the First Church of Christ, Congregational, and she was actively involved with the American Red Cross Chapter in Bedford. She enjoyed her bowling league, square dancing and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Henley is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Davis and her husband, Robert of Colchester, VT; and Nancy DeLone and her partner, James White of Westford; five grandchildren: Glenn Davis and his wife, Liz; Cynthia and Laura Davis; and Ryan and Michael DeLone; and two great grandchildren, Brady and Jackson Davis.

Her funeral service will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd, Bedford, Friday, November 15, at 10:00 AM.
