Janet Blake's Obituary
Janet (Bova) Blake, 81, of Bedford, died on November 14, 2015 in Bedford.
Mrs. Blake, a long time Bedford resident was the daughter of the late Leo and Charlotte (Douglass) Bova.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and participated in "Coffee Hour Group". She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Bedford and volunteered for many committees and projects. She was a member of the Altar Guild, a greeter and an usher. She will always be remembered for her kindness and famous baked beans served at the annual Advent Fair.
Mrs. Blake enjoyed knitting and reading as well as watching her beloved Boston Red Sox.
She is survived by her loving husband Donald G. Blake, her devoted children, Douglass and Gail (Brzeski) Blake of CA, Garrett and Natalie (Tadaro) Blake of NC, Thomas and Kimberley Silva of NH, and Andrew Blake of MD and six dear grandchildren, Kyle Blake, Caitlin (Blake) Stevens and her husband Ben, Kendra and Thomas Silva, Erik and Allyson Blake.
Her funeral service to be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 100 Pine Hill Rd., Bedford on Saturday, November 22, at 10:30 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 100 Pine Hill Rd., Bedford, MA 01730.
