James J. Brady, age 67, of Manchester, NH passed away on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025. Born on November 16, 1958 in Framingham, MA, to James J. and Joan (King) Brady, James moved with his family at an early age to Bedford, MA where he grew up. He graduated Bedford High School in 1977, and then later graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with both a Bachelor's of Arts degree and a Master's in Business Administration.
James had a long and successful career as a salesman with several companies. He loved baseball, especially the Red Sox, and frequently attended games at Fenway Park. He was known for his charm and humor and had many friends.
In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his brothers, Edward and Matthew.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Doonan and husband Emmett (Melrose, MA); son, Dr. Brian Brady and wife Rebecca (East Haven, CT); and son, Sean Brady of Cambridge; grandchildren Jameson, Kennedy, Charley, Ruth, and Caleb. He is also survived by his sisters, Kathryn Brady and husband Peter Hart (Princeton, MA); Meghan Brady and husband Paul R. Bergeron (Nashua, NH); and brothers, Paul and wife Sally (Worcester, MA); and Mark (Derry, NH). He is also survived by his niece, Jillian Brady, and nephew, Finn Brady, both of Worcester, MA.
James will be fondly remembered and missed by his family and his friends.
Family and friends are invited to share memories at Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Road, Bedford, on Sunday, November 30th from 10:00-11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy Fund.
