Jacqueline H. (Foerster) Priebe, 78, of Waltham, died on June 25, 2016 in Acton.

She was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late John O. and Lydia (Dexter) Foerster.

She was raised in West Roxbury and was a longtime resident of Cambridge.

Mrs. Priebe worked for a number of years as an Administrative Assistant for American Express Travel and was member of the Lutheran Church of the Savior in Bedford.

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Frederick W. Priebe Jr., last May. She was also predeceased by her brother-in-law, Richard Priebe and many cousins.

She is survived by her son, Craig Priebe of Waltham, her sister-in-law, Marion Gecks and her husband Donald of Chelmsford, her sister-in-law, Marilyn Priebe of E. Falmouth and five nieces and nephews and their spouses, Dianne Carey and Daniel of Chelmsford, Bruce Gecks and Kathleen of Falmouth, Carole Burns and Douglas of Westford, David Gecks and Norma Jean of Derry, NH and Stephen Gecks and Lisa of Shirley.

A graveside service will be held at Belmont Cemetery, 121 Grove St., Belmont on Friday, July 8, at 10:30 A.M.
