Obituary

Helen L. Laundry, 82, of Bedford, beloved wife of 61 years of Ralph E. Laundry passed away peacefully on February 3, 2015, at home surrounded by her family's love. She was born on Nov. 3, 1932, in East Boston, MA and she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Daley.
Helen had many fond memories of her childhood on Eutaw Street growing up with cousins and family. She graduated from East Boston High and held various jobs from telephone operator to nanny to medical secretary but her passion in life was her family. She loved family vacations, family cruises, attending school and sporting events, and cooking for her family, especially her delicious roasted potatoes. She had a very special way of creating holiday memories for everyone in her life.
After retiring, Ralphie and Helen enjoyed going out to lunch and taking drives. They especially enjoyed visiting the Ogunquit/Wells area of Maine.
She also leaves behind three sons, Thomas and his wife Cheryl, Stephen and his wife Laurie, and Gary and his wife Kim; four grandchildren, Janelle Hill and her husband Ben, Brian Laundry, Eric Laundry and his wife Lynden and Joshua Adams; seven great-grandchildren; Tyler, Ayden, & Ella Hill and Owen, Mason, Gavin, and Brooklyn Laundry; a sister Marie Ferrara, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Anna Duran .
Calling hours will be on Fri. Feb 6, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Rd. Bedford, MA. Funeral service is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 480 Pleasant St, Watertown MA 02472.
