Grace Stergis, age 98, of Bedford, MA, formerly of Falmouth, MA and Wayland, MA, passed away at Carleton-Willard Village Retirement Community on February 20, 2024.

She was the wife of the late Christos G. Stergis, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Grace is survived by daughter, Heidi Becker of Barnstable, MA, son, Rob Stergis of Newton, MA, niece, Barbara Devio of Gainesville Florida, nephew, James Lee Murray III, and long-term friend, Sheryl Norman of Mashpee, MA.

Grace graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and was an accomplished artist as well as art teacher. Her paintings were exhibited in art galleries and museums throughout New England as well as in Cedar Key, Florida. Grace was an active participant in organizations such as the Falmouth Artist Guild and Twenty-One in Truro. In addition to her interest in art, Grace had a love for travel, which she imparted to her relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be scheduled during summer 2024.
