Gloria R. Pass died peacefully on January 1, 2018, at Carlton Willard Village Bedford, Ma. She was 91.

Gloria was born in Somerville to the late Everett and Nancy (Homans) Reed. She was raised in Arlington, and following graduation at Arlington High School she was employed at Swanson's Jewelers and later with her sons at Wanamaker Hardware in Arlington Heights. While living in Arlington, she was an active member of the Pleasant Street Congregational Church and later the First Baptist Church of Bedford.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husbands Irving J. Pass and John Wanamaker, sister Nancy Lipsey of San Antonio and grandson Scott M. Wanamaker.

Loving mother to three sons, John R. Wanamaker and his wife Candee of Billerica, Mark Wanamaker and his wife Twila of Bedford and Gregory A. Pass and his wife Jennifer of St. Louis, MO, her sister, Patricia Porter of Arlington, grandchildren Brett and Jaime Wanamaker, and Shelly Trigg, and four great grandchildren.
