Frederick C. "Ted" Hetherington 83, of Bonita Springs died May 11, 2015 at Joanne's House at Hope Hospice. Ted had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 2000 coming from West Newton, MA.

He was born August 30, 1931 in Halifax, Nova Scotia a son of the late Charles and Anne (née Purcell) Hetherington.

Ted was the former Safe Deposit Manager for the Bay Bank in Newton Center, MA retiring in 1996. He was an avid reader and was very interested in historical aviation.

He is survived by loving wife of 59 years Donna J. Hetherington; two daughters, Debbie Burns and her husband, Joseph and Leslie Yerardi and her husband, Richard; one brother, Wayne Hetherington; one sister, Lois Hetherington; three grandchildren, Kenneth Burns, Kelly Burns Whitney and Andrea Ferguson and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carole Hetherington in 2013.

A memorial service was held at the Shikany Bonita Funeral Home in Bonita Springs, FL.

There will be visiting hours at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Sunday, May 17, from 2-5PM. There will be a graveside service on Monday, May 18, at 1:00 PM, at the Westview
Cemetery, 520 Bedford St., Lexington.
