Frank R. Sacco, 84, of Bedford, died on February 13, 2015, in Concord, MA.
Mr. Sacco was born in Cambridge on December 31, 1930, and he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Merlino) Sacco.
A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served in the Army as a truck driver in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1953.
Mr. Sacco owned and operated six automobile service stations in the Boston area until his retirement in 1998. He was a former resident of Lexington and lived in Bedford for the past twenty-two years where he attended St. Michael Church.
He was the loving husband of Eva (Pastore) Sacco with whom he shared sixty-one years of marriage. They were married on October 11, 1953, at Saint Clement Church in Somerville.
Also surviving are their four children and spouses, Frank Sacco and Pamela of Anchorage, AL, Cynthia Sacco and James of Stow, MA, Leslie Todis and Paul of Tyngsboro and Maria Lynne Miranda and David of Hudson, MA, sisters, Jo Lungo and Lucy Massey and his brother, Andrew Sacco, eleven grandchildren, Christopher, Kylie, Samuel, Katherine, Daniel, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Melanie, Courtney, Victoria and Stephen.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren and their accomplishments.
He was predeceased by his brother, Anthony Sacco and sister, Mary Bonanno.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord, Rd., Bedford, on Tuesday, February 17, at 10 AM.
