He was the last surviving son of the late Jack and Margaret (Peg) McDonald of Brighton, MA.

Frank was a brilliant engineer who worked in many industries and on projects that saved lives and contributed greatly to our world.

A Viet Nam veteran, he served more than three tours with the US Air Force and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1975. Frank was a prolific military history student and often time reenactor. He spent years with the First New Hampshire Reenactment Group, Prescott's Battalion, Knox's Artillery, the Bedford Minutemen Company and the Middlesex County Volunteer Fife and Drum.

Frank will be missed by all who knew him he was an amazing father, friend, grandfather, and brother in arms. The world is ever so dimmer at his passing.
