Francis "Frank" E. Lord was born on April 16, 1921, in Adams, Massachusetts, and died on March 3, 2013, in Danvers, Massachusetts. A veteran of WW II, Frank served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific theatre,

Following his military service, Frank married and set up a home in Bedford, Massachusetts, with his wife, the late Irene P. Lord (nee Irene Plantier of North Adams, Massachusetts). The Lord family grew to include two daughters, Lisa Lord-Patterson of Westborough, Massachusetts and Cynthia L. Worthen of Marblehead, Massachusetts.
Frank was a proud and devoted husband, but perhaps his greatest joy was his grandsons, Matthew Patterson of Lowell, Massachusetts and Daniel Patterson of Cleveland, Ohio.

Frank loved learning, people, good food, good music, a well cut suit and puttering in his shop or dental lab where he fixed just about everything. He taught his girls his cardinal rules: to respect others and to treat them as equals, to work hard and produce the best possible quality whatever the work might be and to always protect each other. Through all of the challenges of life, particularly those he faced in later years, he maintained his sense of humor.

A gathering in celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
